The role of our Events Manager will be diverse and varying but mainly this role will involve planning, organising and running events throughout the Summer on behalf of Keelings. As well as meticulously planning the event in advance, the successful candidate will need to be present at the event, and then will need to take time to close the event and prepare a post-event review.
During the Summer, Keelings aim to participate in 10 events from May to Sept .
The candidate will be required to:
Plan the event in advance
Making sure that the promotional vehicle is available and prepped
Stock for sampling and sales has been organised
Promotional staff have been booked, briefed and have uniforms
Liaise with event managers in advance, ensuring a full understanding of the event and that our requirements are met
During the event
Drive the Keelings Van to the event and prep it on site
Over-see stock sampling and sales
Open/ close the tills at the start and end of the day
After the event
Manage the closing of the Keelings stand
Ensure all equipment is cleaned / ready for next event
Return all Keelings property to Food Central
Complete a post-event review to enable on-going learnings
Candidate will be required to commit to all event dates and for some events, may need to stay overnight (eg Layla Cork)
Experience of event management
Highly driven with a can-do attitude
Will need to demonstrate a high level of common sense and be able to address issues that will arise.
Full clean drivers licence
Ability to manage a team
