PR and Communications Officer
Dogs Trust Ltd is currently seeking to recruit a PR and Communications Officer, who is positive, proactive and has a flair for creativity.
The PR and Communications Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing communications campaigns to support the Rehoming Centre and build awareness. In addition, will identify target audiences on social media, communicate Dogs Trusts key messages and respond to all posts and comments on our social media platforms.
He/ she will be responsible for identifying, researching and writing stories for social media and press releases and assist with the day to day enquiries from national, local and regional press and broadcast media, will attend meetings on behalf of Dogs Trust with external agencies and manager supplier relationships.
The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to the work and aims of Dogs Trust, will have excellent attention to detail, a love for the digital world and passion for writing.
Previous experience within a similar role, a PR/ Marketing or similar qualification, experience using IT programmes (Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint) and a full clean driving license are essential for this role.
It would be desirable if the successful candidate had experience in using photoshop and editing software.
