Conference & Events Manager
CONFERENCE AND EVENTS MANAGER FOR POPULAR 4* HOTEL IN KILDARE
We are recruiting for an experienced Conference & Events Manager for one of our long standing clients to work Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm hours. This 4* hotel is a popular venue for conferences, banquets and weddings in Kildare offering an unrivalled service.
The Conference & Events Manager must be passionate and extremely organised and will be ultimately responsible for every element of the hotels conference and events business including sales and delivering on budgets.
This is mainly a Monday – Friday role with flexibility expected to work Saturdays on a rare occasion.
The successful candidate will:
Liaise with all clients from enquiry stage up to and including post event follow up
Target driven with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Excellent time management with the ability to plan and organise
Co-ordinate wedding fairs, showcases and trade shows
To work with Marketing to ensure our collateral and all public facing messages are to the highest standards at all times
Maintain effective correspondence with the Sales Team
To provide feedback on latest trends in the conference, wedding and banqueting business to senior management
To develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
To provide cover for all areas of the Sales Team when required
Experience/Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role in a hotel
Will have the ability to be a quick learner and work in a fast paced environment
Will have a friendly positive attitude and the ability to lead by example
Must be fluent in english both oral and written
Must have an excellent communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships
Be committed to delivering exceptional service
Salary
This superior property is offering a secure, year round position with a salary of up to €36,000 per annum plus benefits
